I like the mixture of textures and fabrics Shaw has chosen to use within her artworks. The images below aren’t of a great quality and display the overall successful nature of the artworks but I am attracted to her varying materials, shapes and textures and would like to further develop this and use it within my resolved artwork relating to onions and the patterns that they have within.
Shaw also uses a lot of recycled materials within the production of her artworks which is something I have aimed to do within the production of my artworks using only t-shirts and tablecloths.
