Continuing on with the theme of looking at plants and there skeletal form I have been playing attention to them in there dormant season by referring back to some images I took last winter (the winter of 2020/21). exploring the structures, shapes and shadows that are created in amongst the plants.

These images capture the delicate but also cold, broken and disjointed nature of plants in there dormant season. The way they provide the perfect spaces for birds to swoosh though and also the way in which it allows sunlight through to help improve buds in the spring.
